Cabinet art at the same rhythm as the digital catalog.
Pollard's iLottery, paper and e-tab pipelines all share one theme bible. Cabinet should ride the same bible — so a Casino Freak running on an Ovation cabinet looks like the same brand the player sees on the lobby tile, the paper ticket, and the iPhone. We propose one design pass per theme, multi-surface output: J-Curve hero, topper banner, attract loop, brand-locked SKU sheet.
What ships per cycle
Five surfaces per theme · one design brief · one approval pass
J-Curve hero
5×3 reel + jackpot ladder + hero portrait + cartouche, locked to a canonical layout proven on Coin Baron Kingdom. Two pilot themes shipped — Ice Palace and Casino Freak — confirming the template re-skins to any palette without redrawing geometry.
Topper banner
The above-the-screen lit banner. Same theme bible, retargeted for the wide horizontal aspect of Pollard's Ovation and Encore tops. Generated alongside the J-Curve in the same brief.
Attract loop
The 10-15s idle-state animation that plays between sessions. Built from the same per-symbol motion layer we ship to iLottery and e-tab — no separate animation pipeline.
Dual-screen sync
Top + bottom screen content choreographed as a single composition. Wins on the bottom escalate to the top; jackpot reveals span both. Same theme bible drives both surfaces.
Vertical 4K rail
The portrait rail format — same theme art retargeted to the 9:16 ratio for cabinet sidebars and standalone vertical units. One brief, multiple aspect ratios.
Cabinet math layer
Per-cabinet RTP envelope, denom ladder, jackpot tier topology. Same Kobow distribution engine that powers paper and iLottery — adapted for the higher-stake denominations typical of land-based play.
Why this matters for Pollard
One brand bible across iLottery · paper · e-tab · cabinet — so the player sees one Pollard, not four
One theme, four surfaces.
Today the cabinet art team works separately from iLottery and paper. Catalyst proposes one theme brief that resolves to all four surfaces — operator sees consistent brand identity from lobby tile to physical reel.
Re-skin without re-drawing.
The J-Curve template anchor (Coin Baron Kingdom) lets us drop any theme palette + symbol pack into the locked layout and ship a new cabinet brand in a single approval cycle, not a multi-month redesign.
One library, every operator.
Brand-locked SKU sheets per operator (state lottery, charity, casino) get generated from one master theme — Pollard ships the same brand to multiple regulators with the right compliance overlay automatically applied.
Roadmap
Sequence proposed for the first three production cycles
J-Curve template lock.
Two pilots live (Ice Palace + Casino Freak). Confirms re-skin works at template-level — no geometry redraw needed for new themes.
Topper + attract pack.
Same two pilots extended to topper banner + 12s attract loop. Establishes the 4-surface bundle pipeline.
Dual-screen + 4K rail.
Final two surfaces. Locks the 5-surface system. After this, every new theme ships all five in one approval cycle.
